
Major time and resources of the Institute
are utilized for handling projects of recruitment, promotion,
placement, admission Test and conducting training programmes
and research etc.
The Director is the executive head of the Institute. He is
entrusted with the day-to-day management of the Institute.
For deciding policy, academic and operational aspects, the
members of the faculty and administrative support staff extend
all the necessary assistance to the Director.
To specially review and improve upon the systems, various
internal committees are constituted. A brief overview of such
committees is given below.
Faculty Council
Faculty Council meets and decides about various policy matters and academic issues related to employment testing. It also discusses various administrative issues as and when referred to by Director.
Printing
Committee
The Committee is mainly responsible for looking after the
operational aspects of printing activity of the Institute
including purchase of necessary materials such as paper, printing
plates, ink, etc.
Computer
Committee
The Committee assesses needs of computerization in various
departments and activities of the Institute. It works out
plans for acquisition, general upkeep of all the machines
of the Institute and training needs. It also estimates future
needs of machines and provides technical input for the same.
Library
Committee
The Committee looks after various needs of the library. It
also recommends to the Director the books/ periodicals to
be purchased every year.
Welfare
Committee
The Institute has several welfare activities for its staff
which includes management of superannuation scheme, GSLI scheme,
awarding prizes to meritorious children of its employees,
etc. The Committee recommends its proposals to Director for
consideration.
Staff
Club
The Institute has its formal platform as Staff Club for carrying
out its cultural, sports and social activities. It arranges
during the year various programmes of cultural competitions,
festival get-togethers, sports competitions, etc.
