
The
research is undertaken to support, strengthen and improve the
theoretical and operational aspects of selection testing.
The institute looks at the research activities from a wider
perspective. Research is considered not merely as investigating
the fundamental aspects of psychometrics but also addressing
to the practical and operational problems and procedures.
The institute has carried out numerous long term and short term "action research" studies addressing to the theoretical as well
as practical, operational and procedural problems related to
Psychometrics/Personnel Selection/HRD. Same of the findings
of these studies helped in policy formulations and improving
the systems and procedures.
