IBPS has been offering its services to diverse clientele in BFSI and non BFSI sectors in pre-employment testing, assessment for admission to educational/professional/certification courses, lateral recruitment, promotion and placement.
Member organisations of the Institute include Central Financial Institutions, Insurance Companies, Public Sector Banks, Private Banks and Co-operative Banks.
In terms of Govt of India approved policy/scheme, every year IBPS co-ordinates the Common Recruitment Processes (CRPs) for recruitment of Clerical cadre, Probationary Officers and Specialist Officers in Participating Public Sector Banks (PSBs). The CRP for PSBs is being held every year. IBPS has also been co-ordinating each of the Common Recruitment Processes (CRPs) for recruitment of Office Assistants and Officers in Scales I, II and III in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) every year since 2013.
CRPs are planned and executed with the assistance of all stakeholders in accordance with the guidelines duly approved and finalised such that the results of allotment of successful aspirants are published in a timely manner.
IBPS conducts recruitment and promotion examinations for all Public Sector Banks.
IBPS has also been listed as one of the accredited test conducting Agency for the online recruitment and promotion examinations conducted for the Government of Maharashtra.
