IBPS SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (IBPSSR)
IBPS has been allocating funds to create impactful change through its IBPSSR initiatives. To implement these efforts in an organized way, the Institute officially adopted a IBPSSR policy, which was approved by the Governing Board during 2019-20.
In partnership with Union Bank Social Foundation Trust (UBSFT) and State Bank of India Social Fund Trust (SBISFT)
who have undertaken philanthropic activities in social, environmental, education and healthcare sectors.
Some of the key IBPSSR activities undertaken by IBPS include donating to a High School towards children’s education; sponsoring transport facilities, medical equipment, and patients’ kitchen in a charitable trust; providing safety equipment to frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic; and contributing to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, among others.
