Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Each year, the Institute earmarks funds to undertake CSR activities for worthy social causes on voluntary basis. In FY 2019-20, the Institute formally adopted a CSR policy duly approved by the Governing Board, in order to carry out CSR initiatives in a structured manner.
In partnership with Union Bank Social Foundation Trust (UBSFT) and State Bank of India Social Fund Trust (SBISFT)
who have undertaken philanthropic activities in social, environmental, education and healthcare sectors.
Some of the CSR initiatives undertaken include contributions to PM Relief Fund, donation of safety equipment to frontline workers during COVID-19 pandemic, construction of sanitation facilities, contribution to medical equipments, patients kitchen and transport facilities in a charitable hospital etc.
